Staff Training at a London based Bus Company.
How do you bring a potentially dry – or wordy staff training manual to life for new starters in the workplace? We developed scripts that reflected some of the key issues the company were trying to get across to their staff.
In this way they would be visually interpreted before they had to be taken on board mentally – which in turn made them memorable, and applicable to the day to day running of the company. Actors took on the roles of staff members quite literally getting work practices wrong.
The training manual could then be used as a reference for the preferred course for in each particular case. The actors used would then rewind their scripts to a place where actions could be signposted by the delegates – with outcomes proving the effectiveness of the training manual. |
